One of the questions I get asked the most by guests staying in Alanya is this: "Is there somewhere we can watch a dolphin show, and maybe even swim with them?" The answer is yes, and you don't even need to travel to Antalya or another city for it. Sea Alanya offers exactly that, sitting right between Alanya and Side.

Part 01 / 04
What Is Sea Alanya, and Why Is It So Popular?
Sea Alanya is one of the largest marine life facilities in the region. The show pool is genuinely huge, and so is the seating area, which means even on the busiest days of the season everyone gets a proper seat to watch from. The facility draws a good number of guests from both Alanya and Side, mostly because of where it sits, more or less right between the two areas.
The show itself runs for around 30 to 35 minutes. The trainers put on a genuinely impressive performance with the dolphins, jumps, synchronised moves, interaction with the audience, and it usually ends up being one of the most memorable moments of the whole trip for families with kids.
Wioletta's note: I'd recommend arriving early for the show, especially in July and August. The front rows are the most popular, both for the view and the chance of getting splashed, so they fill up fast.
Part 02 / 04
Can You Just Watch, or Can You Swim With Them Too?
This is what sets Sea Alanya apart from a lot of other show venues. The standard entry ticket only covers watching the show, but there's also a swim-with-dolphins option for guests who want it. It's a separate package, run with a trainer present and a limited group size, scheduled as its own session apart from the main show.
The swim experience is short but eventful. There's a handshake with the dolphin, a kiss, being pulled along on your stomach through the water, all of it captured on photo and video. It works for both kids and adults, as long as the set age and height limits are met. If you're thinking about doing this, book your spot ahead of time since the daily capacity is limited.
Part 03 / 04
Transfer and Direct Pricing
Sea Alanya is fairly close to most hotel areas, but arranging your own transport there can end up being more hassle than it's worth, especially for guests staying on the Side side. That's why quite a few guests go for the ticket-plus-transfer package instead.
When you book through CertiGo, the price you pay is the price the facility itself sets, no middleman, no added commission. The same ticket booked through a hotel reception usually comes with a higher number attached, since there's another hand taking a cut along the way there too.

Part 04 / 04
Sea Alanya or the Show at Land of Legends?
I get this question a lot too. Land of Legends does have its own dolphinarium inside the park, and you can watch a similar show there, that's true. But the two experiences really serve different purposes.
If all you want is to see the show without giving up a whole day to it, Sea Alanya is the more practical choice, since it's the one thing you're there for. If instead you want to spend your entire day inside a park, with water slides, the Night Show and everything else that comes with it, Land of Legends makes more sense, and you'll catch the dolphin show as part of that package anyway.
Wioletta's note: If you're planning a single day around it and the dolphin show is your one goal, putting Sea Alanya early in the morning and spending the afternoon at the beach works out well. But if you can spare the whole day, Land of Legends will give you a fuller day out.
Either way, both are good experiences in their own right, which one fits depends entirely on how your day is shaping up.
